Antithesis…so confused?
I am writing a paper and I have to include an antithesis. I have been researching it but all I find are literary examples. I need an example for a term paper. I understand that it has to go against the thesis, but I’m still really confused on the concept of what an antithesis really is. Can someone please help me out. What would the antithesis be for the following thesis: At least twenty-five percent of the federal budget should be spent on helping upgrade business to clean technologies, researching Renewable Energy Sources, and planting more trees in order to control or eliminate pollution.
Perhaps providing a cogent argument that the federal goverment should not be involved in the commercial sector’s energy transition would be acceptable. I imagine you could easily find such an argument – many people out there believe in limited goverment, especially concerning the regulation of industries.
