Petroleum Energy Source

Shall we be ready for the end of the petroleum era?
20 or 30 years yet and the energy needed to extract 1 petroleum gallon will cost more than 1 petroleum gallon. It will be the beginning of the end of the petroleum age. Not too far: the most of us will see that day! Other Energy Sources are now still completely insufficient to replace petroleum and our technical devices are mostly not ready for conversion. What will it happen to the people living on earth? To global market and production based on the low cost of energy and transports? To the indispensable technological supports to human life? Will it be a sort of apocalypse with wars and massacres for the last petroleum drops? Before the petroleum use only 1 billion people lived on earth, now we are 6 billions: what will it happen to the exceeding 5 billions?
to Mike W: It’s more funny (or tragic, I don’t now) how some conservators have the faith that nothing is going to happen and don’t want to see. It’s better to continue to sleep!
Petroleum extraction, although done relatively cheaply, is still a science that needs better technology to extract it more efficiently.
Nuclear power has its benefits, but most people don’t want this type of energy, besides, how do you power a road going vehicle with type of fuel? It will be possible in the future to have mini nuclear power plants that will be able to power vehicles but do we all want nuclear bombs travelling up and down our highways?
25 years ago a few of the large American Institutions were looking into Hydrogen power. This is a never ending power source and will not be tapped into until the oil runs out. Technology exists at the moment to produce it and when it becomes mainstream there will be a clamour to get the money out of people who will need it; you and I!
I am currently in the process of developing an engine that will run on multiple fuels and has only one main moving part. Until I can find money to continue with the project, I am stuck with no more than paper ideas and models.
This power plant will revolutionise the way vehicles are run and operated and will give far better fuel economy than what is presently available. This will not be good news for the oil producers who thrive on artificially inflated prices and make vast profits from their enterprises.
The time will come when I will unveil my idea to world and thus, save us all!
I thank you.
