Output Value Of Renewable Resources In Guangdong In 2012 Will Exceed 170 Billion
Learned from the Guangdong Provincial Government, in order to accelerate the cycle of economic and resource-saving and environment-friendly society-building, promoting sound and rapid economic and social development of Guangdong province will vigorously promote the healthy and orderly development of renewable resources industries.
In 2008 in Guangdong Province registered industrial and commercial operators of renewable resources of about 4 million, above-scale industrial enterprises, processing and utilization of renewable resources, there are nearly 100; renewable resources, industrial output value of more than 120 billion yuan, employment size of more than 1.4 million people.
It is reported that Guangdong province has been clearly put forward to promote renewable resources, industrial development goals. Priority to the development of scrap metal, scrap electrical and electronic products, scrap electrical and mechanical equipment and spare parts, waste paper and waste plastic recycling and comprehensive utilization, and vigorously promote the construction waste and food waste recycling.
- By 2012, Guangdong Province, scrap metal, waste paper, waste plastics, and other renewable resources, comprehensive utilization of the total more than 46 million tons; to achieve renewable resources, industrial output value of more than 170 billion yuan (at 2007 constant prices), annual growth of 10% or more; 200,000 new jobs.
- Utilization of scrap metal across the province the amount of more than 13 million tons, waste paper utilization volume of more than 24 million tons, the amount of comprehensive utilization of waste plastic and rubber more than 9 million tons;
- Urban and rural areas covering the province’s Renewable Resource recycling network in the province offices, schools, enterprises, residential quarters established recycling system of renewable resources in each area or large town, at least to set up a recycle bin; took the lead in the Pearl River Delta renewable resource recycling system to cover the village committee to achieve village built waste recycling points;
- Household appliances industry, initially built to relevant enterprises as the mainstay of the number of discarded household electrical appliance recycling, dismantling and sorting systems, and in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shantou, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhaoqing and other cities take the lead in implementation;
- Above-scale utilization of renewable resources will be increased to more than 120 companies, of which annual output value of over 10 million businesses to reach more than 50.
To this end, Guangdong has introduced relevant measures to actively promote healthy and orderly development of renewable resources industries. They include the development of renewable resources industries included in “Shier Wu,” the overall economic and social development plans and annual plans; accelerate renewable resource industries, management systems, and actively promoting the renewable resource industry in the drafting of relevant local laws and regulations and strive to 2012 the formation of a more perfect system of local laws and regulations, etc.; the establishment of multi-sectoral participation of renewable resources, industrial development joint system.
